On the occasion of Earth Day, 22nd April 2017, the Sathya Sai International Organisation of Hungary offered a lecture in the city of Kaposvár titled “Our planet and the universal human values”. The programme, attended by 25 people, both newcomers and members of the SSIO, started with a comprehensive overview of the life, teachings and works of Sathya Sai as well as the activities of the SSIO on the national and international level. The lecture then continued with the highlighted topic of the day.

The focal point of the talk was to reveal an organic relationship between nature and man, based on the teachings of Sathya Sai, in the course of which the participants were made familiar with the human overuse of natural resources, and also with the tools we have at disposal in spirit and in action to restore our relationship to nature at both the individual and social level.

Guests interested in practicing spiritual reconnecting in action were invited to stay for the last session of the day: a musical programme by the members of the SSIO, combining elements from all major world religions, and a guided meditation dedicated to the well-being of the planet. All guests participated in the practical part of the programme as well, and gave an overall positive feedback on the meeting.
