Sixteen Dutch volunteers got together with their sewing machines and other equipment to stitch baby clothes and nappies, to help out with an ongoing project for newborn babies in Puttaparthi, India.

The service day which took place on 30th September 2017, involved volunteers cutting and sewing nappies and putting together baby packs, with each pack containing two blouses/dresses, two nappies, a shawl and a summer cap.

The packs are then sent to the Sri Sathya Sai Easwaramma Women’s Welfare Trust or to the General Hospital in Puttaparthi, for distribution to mothers who have recently given birth to a new baby.
